Calling all students new to yoga!
Attend this beginner’s workshop, led by our amazing Lorraine, to become comfortable doing 12-step Sun Salutations and basic yoga poses.
We will start with breath work, Sun Salutations & then practice postures from the major classifications: Standing, Balancing, Backbends, Floor poses, Seated Forward Bends, Inversions & Twists. There will be time for questions and feedback. We will end with the most important pose: Savasana (guided relaxation).
The pace of a workshop allows you to take your time and learn the correct way to enter a pose, be in a pose & to safely exit from the pose.
Having been a student for many years in the Buddhist tradition of vipassana meditation and the practice of mindfulness, her teaching style weaves together these teachings along with traditional yoga philosophy. With supportive energy and enthusiasm, Lorraine’s classes offer the opportunity for revitalizing the body, calming the mind and renewing the spirit while cultivating inner awareness and ultimately joy.
