Doron Yoga 200-Hour Yoga Alliance Certification at Peacebank
The teacher training program at peacebank is a life changing, growth and transformational opportunity. You will learn about yourself, grow as an individual, deepen your practice, and become an example for others. Discover the yogi within you, embody the gift of sharing.
The training will give you a practical teaching toolbox. You will employ the appropriate method for almost every situation and student. You will be taught ancient wisdom based on age old traditions. The teachings will deepen your yoga practice and give you new insights into life. You will learn to embody and live yoga. The training is a personal journey. Anyone can be a student, even those who have no interest in teaching.
Doron Yoga’s teacher training curriculum is based on the teachings of Krishnamacharya, especially from the Ashtanga Vinyasa series, along with elements from Zen Buddhism, Ayurveda and modern day mind and body practices. After completing the training you will be eligible for the Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher credential at the 200 hour level (RYT 200). The course will cover all of the elements required for the Yoga Alliance 200-hour certification.
The course is led by Doron Hanoch, a 500-hour yoga alliance certified teacher, trained chef, certified nutrition consultant (registered with the AADP), artist and long time Zen student. Will we receive any study materials?
You will receive a teacher training manual written especially for the course. The manual includes articles, pose worksheets, and information on all of the subjects taught in the course. Materials include Pranayama, Philosophy, Chakras and subtle anatomy, chants, and more.

Absolutely. Yoga is for everyone. You will learn how to create a practice that is beneficial, enjoyable and safe for every student. You will learn how to modify poses based upon the individual student, how to choose asanas to safely strengthen and stretch students with injuries and how to design a practice for students with physical limitations. There will be time devoted to prenatal yoga.
What do I leave with at the end of the program? Will I know what I need to teach a class?
When you complete the program you will have all the knowledge you need to teach yoga. You will have a new set of skills and practices to take your self, your practice and your lifestyle to a higher level. It will be up to you to put your new skills into use.
